searching for the Z

I've been "researching" the purchase of a sports car for over half my life. Like a previous post, I've had "sporty" 4-seaters ('71 Ford Torino with 351 - a Pontiac LeMans - current ride is a 2001 Toyota Solara V6 SLE that I purchased new). I am ready for a Z, but am preoccupied by the options like: to buy latest-model new from a dealer or find a "lot worn" '09 with lowest mileage; to buy base or touring or Nismo or Coupe or Roadster; and to add aftermarket add-ons like super-charger, exhaust, audio, spokes and treads and wings - blah, blah, blah - but so much fun looking. Opinions from this forum, that motivate me to make an actual purchase, will be very appreciated ('

You want to compare the different models and go for a test drive to see if the Z is for you.

The next thing is what plans do you have? Leaving it stock? modding for looks or track?
Those are the things you need to decide on, and from there you can ask what the best way going about it.
