Hey guys, prospective buyer here and I got a few questions for the veterans that I couldn't find when I lurked through this site. I'm currently feeling around for a new vehicle while my G8 GT is getting assessed by the insurance company since I was rear ended while sitting in traffic...but that's another story.

I got a few questions that I couldn't find on the forum so I decided to make a thread and ask you guys them personally.

1: What kind of gas mileage does the 370z get (manual of course)? In my 4000lb boat I was getting on average 18.5-19.5mpg combined (2/3s of my commute is on the Turnpike) and that's not too bad for a 6.0L V8 with about 400 horses. I see that the EPA says they get 19/26 or whatever but that's the EPA..they said the G8 GT gets 15/24 and I get around 30 on the highway and easily dip into single digits in traffic. I wanna know what some "real" drivers are getting out of their cars since this will be my only car and my daily driver. Yes, I know "don't buy a sports car for gas mileage" but if it gets about the same or more as my G8 did I'm not going to complain, I just want something that isn't going to totally drink money away.

2: Anyone here in the Northeast or wherever you get snow drive their Z year round? I know that NJ doesn't get much snow considering it's location but it still gets some. I'm not 100% sure on how well these vehicles do in snow compared to other RWD vehicles. I know that a RWD car is going to be relatively bad in snow, that's just how they are and you gotta pull up your big girl panties and deal with it but every car is different and some perform better in snow than others. I know that my G8 performed perfectly fine in snow and got out without much hassle (even in the 11ty noreasters we got last winter). I would like to know if the 370z with a proper winter setup would work the same as a run of the mill RWD car or whether anyone's had issues due to it's lighter weight than your average RWD car and whatnot.

And that's about all I wanted to ask since those are the integral questions I wanted to know about this vehicle. I can see that some people also have issues with their clutch plates and cylinders yet they're fixing that and it's not necessarily a huge deal like with the numerous recalls the G8 has had comparably. So thanks for reading and yeah, I'll be lurking around here since unless I get a Z of my own I wont have much to talk about anyways.
