Hello from New Orleans

New guy from New Orleans. Been a member for a few months now and just purchased my 2010 PG 370Z on July 21st. Are there any other members in the New Orleans area?

I've no idea. As far as I know things are getting back to normal.

Baton Rouge here. Just got my 370Z roadster two days ago. You can read my sad sack story if you search my posts about how I came into possession of my new Z.

Freaking love this car!

I do have a question to all the other LA residents: what is the deal with auto insurance in Louisiana, it is absurd?!?!?! I used to live in Chicago (4 blocks from wrigley field in the heart of the city) and I thought our auto insurance was pricey there . . . our auto insurance DOUBLED when we moved here.

Nonetheless, it is a small price to pay for driving enjoyment!

Congrats, let's see some pics for visual stimulation!!

Is it true what I've heard about the bad roads?

Mr&Mrs 09-15-2010 11:27 AM

Welcome!

The insurance is a combo of some of the worst roads in the nation and the amount of accidents and claims. The accidents are a direct correlation of the roads though. You'll learn that around here if it starts raining just a little there's wrecks everywhere.
