What I would do is 1. File a police report with the Dept. in GA. 2. Contact your own lawyer about a civil case against him, your lawyer would be able to tell you if he could handle it or if you should contact a lawyer in the USA.

You should have been contacting the police or a private investigator back in August when this all first started. But anyway, nothing new being said that you haven't heard already in this thread. Best of luck to you and hope you get this all sorted.

wow, I hope everything turns out good man... I know if I got robbed of that much money I would find out if it was stolen or not within a day by calling the dealer, give him 1 day to get my money back, and if he didn't I'd be on a flight over there in a heart beat. What are you waiting for? GET A LAWYER or come over here!!! You can sue him for the legal fees, but then again if they can't liquidate any of his assets for the money they will just garnish his wages or you will be SOL there too.
Edit - GOSH man I can't believe you gave him so many chances! he's a crook!! a criminal!! stop feeling sorry for him even if he cries for hours. |

You should be able to file a police report even though you are out of the country.
I would call this number: Police Station: 2686 Springdale Road Snellville, GA 30039 Phone: (770) 985-3555 And ask the person who answers the phone, and ask them how you can go about filing a police report, they will tell you to stop by the station, to which you can reply 'thats gonna be hard to do as I am in Bahrain and this asshole stole my money, anyway we can do it over the phone?' The Police are gonna be the only ones who are going to be able to tell you how to go about filing the report. All your questions can be answered by them, by calling that number. I wouldn't email anyone, I'd just call the number, you'll get all the correct answers better than anyone here could give you

Their website: Gwinnett County, GA: Police I'd recommend calling this number 770.513.5000, which is their non-emergency number and who ever picks up the phone will be able to get you to talk to the correct person with that police department about filing a report.

Don't expect an email back from the Chief of Police, Gwinnett is a fairly large PD in the Atlanta area, which is good for you, but bad if the only person you want to talk to is the chief of police. If you get an email back from him it won't be before Monday..... Just call that number it will be worlds easier

I guess they don't know how to call my country, our open code is 973 then my mobile number. What they have to dial before 973? Usually when I call the US I have to add 00 before 1 (US code). So it's the same there?
