well, the car price is too high here in my country and i didnt find used.

and the guy already brought for us like 10 cars b4 this car!! that why i trusted him.

i just closed the fone, he told me that the car was parked outside the dealer, and its got stolen with 2 other cars.

anyways, the guy can change his number and dont give a f*** bout it and dont give me the money bak!! but he told me that he's trying to collect enough cash and he will send it to me and then he will pay me monthly 1500 USD.

and am so f***ed up here!! i cant do anything!! i think i will wait for the end of this week, he might collect 15 000 and send it to me and then send me the rest of the amount as instalments!!!

BUT I NEED UR HELP IN THIS POINT! is there is any legal document in the US were he can sign and send to me mentioning that he will pay me the installments!! promissary note or something!! if any about know about!! PLEASE HELP!

you just need to put the agreement in writing and have him sign it and get it notarized. it doesn't have to be a specific form or anything.

man sorry to hear about your bad deal. it sounds to me by reading your post
this guy just ripped you off. is he a salesmen at this dealership? sounds to me like he sold the car twice. good for him bad for you.

damn man sry to hear.. If i lived closer to the dealership i would go check it out for you

Contact the police dept at the number i posted before and speak to a detective about filling charges. I take it that it would be grand larceny

jdmlove 08-15-2010 01:19 AM

right now, i dont want to investigate or call the police dept.

i am afraid that he somehow will know that am trying to investigation behind him and he will not send me any cent!

i will wait until he gives me my money bak, and then i will make sure if his story really happened or no.

I only have hope now. i should give him a call by next friday! and see how much he will send me :(

So does he have any paperwork from the dealer that this car was in fact purchased?
-Bill of Sale
-Title
-Receipt for the Cash deposit
Ect...

Why would the car sit for 10 days after paying for it?
Just some questions to ask.

I agree with Lou... he should have paperwork that he could fax to you. The story doesn't really add up.

Did he conduct the deal as an "off the books" transaction or did the company he works for work the deal? If it's the latter, I would think their business insurance should cover inventory theft, and there shouldn't be a big problem in returning you your money.

It's just a very weird situation and unfortunately because you're all the way out in Bahrain it's difficult to find out exactly what is going on.

Whatever happened, hopefully this guy is genuine and returns your money.

there is no paper work, because he bought the car personally not under his company.

the car parked for 10 days cause he had to ship the car for me.

before he ship the by few days, it got stolen, and it was parked out side the dealer (were he works)!!

m4a1mustang 08-15-2010 11:15 AM

Regardless of whether he purchased the car through the company or personally there will be sales paperwork from the dealership he bought the car from.

jdmlove 08-15-2010 11:27 AM

ur right, i am sure he purchased the car from the dealer, because i called the dealer and he confirmed that the uy bought the car.

In either case, I'm surprised there was no insurance at all. When bought my car ca (in NY) I needed proof of insurance before I could leave the lot. Something doesn't add up.

Those laws probably vary state to state, but yes, I had to have proof of insurance as well before I left the dealership.

(Side story: they let me use one of their computers and I was so excited I went to sit down on the very edge of the leather chair at the desk. It was a really slick leather. To the floor I fell, right on my butt. :rofl2:)

Banks require prof of insurance, not dealerships.

So if you pay cash, technically you really don't need to prove that you have insurance.

I know you'll do whatever you want, and I understand they do things differently where you are, but I would strongly advise calling the local Police Dept. to get things figured out.
