New guy
Hey guys, I'm sure that there's quite a few here like me. I don't own a 370Z yet, but once I sell my 01 BMW 330Xi off, I will definitely own a 370Z. I'm just posting here to say my hellos, and to check out the deals offered here. I went to the dealership today, test drove a Solid Red 09 370Z touring with only 2,700 miles on it, and fell in love. The only issue however, was that the dealer tried to **** me on my trade in, and give me <$4K for my car after all was said and done. I loved the 370Z, but not THAT much...anyhow, I'd love to check the cars in the classifieds, but I'm utterly confused on the process of buying cars over the net in terms of financing, checking the car out, etc. so odds are I'll be dealing with the local stealerships. Wish me luck please! ^_^

try to KBB your car and work your dealer over a little for a better trade-in with KBB as your proof of value. But in any case Welcome to the site, enjoy its wonders...

Thanks guys, I tried KBB the value isn't too nice on German cars for some reason. They tried to give me <$4k for my 01 330Xi now that I think of it...either way, it's on craigslist now, once I get that sold, 370Z here I come!

Welcome. If you can stand the wait, you'll almost always get a better price on a sale to a private party than the dealership can give you in trade. Negotiating the new car price without having to negotiate the trade-in value on your old car also simplifies the car buying process .

^hah thanks guys, the name Vietec's always been with me, since I did technically start off as a Honda guy, then BMW guy, then 370Z guy...I'm indecisive. As far as selling my car, I'm waiting it out, maybe I'll get my money in time for the 400Z >_>
