I've been lurking for several months after buying my black cherry roadster on January 1. The forums have been great and I finally decided to make it official.

A little background:
I started lusting after the roadster in late August 2009, when it was supposed to be available "late summer". For the next four months while I waited for cars to show up at a local dealer I did web research, visited the dealer page almost daily and the dealer weekly. I managed to show up at the dealer the day any inventory arrived, before they could call me, and test drove every single one that came in (and they didn't even get too annoyed).

Finally, after months of waiting my car came in and I bought it the next day. Gotta love driving with the top down at 32 degrees in January! At least it was a dry winter in Portland so I got to have a little fun...
