Just picked up an Escort 9500ix...

Went to the local walmart going over 100mph on the highway with radar on passing all the slow pokes.

Anyone feel safe with radar detector?

Any tickets with radar on?

Just got back from the Sam's Club and was warned twice. I looked ahead of me and behind and about 30 seconds later I see a COP with Ka. That happened twice already. However, i have yet to come upon a Cop stationed at a speed trap.... I won't test my luck until the radar spots the trap!!!

Ive always loved the top end Whistlers, great value and ratings for a cheaper brand. In tests the new top of the line one out does the Escort many times than not in a side by side comparison! But nothing can beat your natural senses, dont go 100 in some long bend or on the interstate where there are trees all in the median because thats cop territory!
