Another new member seeking Z power

Hi all, I've been ghosting around these boards for about a month now and figured I would officially introduce myself. I'm starting a new job next month down in San Diego and after a few months I plan on putting a down payment on a new 370.

I test drove a MT6 base w/ sport pkg this past weekend and I really liked the car...aside from the poor rearward visibility. I know I'll get used to it but I'm used to driving my truck with panorama 360 degree views. After looking at all the options I think I'm now leaning toward a MT6 touring w/ sport. I know it's a little premature but if any dealership sponsors see this post let me know if you can cut any deals for me sometime in August.

Happy posting everyone.

Welcome to the boards and congrats on the new car to come! You could view Ak370z's rear view back up cam DIY for added rear visibility. Someone also put smaller mirrors on the standard Z mirrors!

Welcome!

The rear viz can be a bear, but I've had very little issue with it thus far.

I just switched from a truck with nice easy all-round view to the Z, don't worry about it, you'll get used to it....and it is SO worth it.

^I've been looking into the backup cam heavily which is why I initially figured I would go with a base model and then rip out the stereo and replace it all in a similar fashion to the multiple members on this site. But I also really like the touring seats, auto dim mirror, cargo cover, pedals, etc. So I figure I'll just go with the touring model, throw on some tiny blind spot mirrors (which I love on my truck even though it has good vis) and just back into every parking space.
