Default Z shopping

I test drove a 40th anniversary edition Z yesterday. I was very impressed with the car in all aspects except one. It seemed very loud (road noise) for car this expensive I was suprised. I was wondering if it could just be this set of tires? Are the 18" any quieter? Would dynamat make a significant difference? I currently drive an 07 Altima, love the car, I'm hooked on Nissan.

ITS A SPORTS CAR, your going from two completely different cars, only similarity is they are both Nissan. The 370z will have more engine noise and tire noise due to how low you are to the ground, the type of tires, size of the tires, the motor cause all the power it creates, etc.

did they make you jump through hoops/give you b/s when you wanted to test drive. i test drove a nismo at this one delearship and they tried to like get me to promise i would buy it and they had to check my credit and bs before they'd let me drive it, as if i was about to test drive a lambo. (i didnt get my car there obviously)

You let somebody ping your credit report before a test drive?

Default test drive

I bought my Altima from the same dealership and saleman. Since they already know me, it was no problem to test drive, I also drove the roadster.

well it was the only manual trans 370z ii could find at any dealership close to me (long island) so i needed to test drive it. that was at another dealership, they were very stubborn. Then the car had a completely discharged battery and was sitting in the middle of hte showroom(dispite the fact that i had made the appt a week in advance), and the car stalled when the mat got stuck under the clutch and i couldn't restart it on a main road. overall miserable experience.
