Hello
Hello,
My name is Scott. I just joined the forums so I can learn more about the 370Z. I am planning on purchasing one later this year but wanted to make sure it will be the right car for me. I currently own a G35 which I have not decided if I will sell or keep when I make the Z purchase. I come from a family that loves the Z. My parents had an '84 280Z, '90 300Z, and now a '05 350 Roadster. I am very farmiliar with the 350 since it is basically the same as my G and this 370 looks like the car to have for a new project. I'm really feeling this new body style and the Nismo is even better. tks, Scott |

Its a fantastic car, especially for the money. I've owned it since Sept 09 (didnt drive it thru winter). I love everything about it. The looks it gets, its gotta a unique style different from other cars. Looks better than Camaros, Mustangs, Chargers, even Porsches and even Corvettes. Performance is great. Quick acceleration, handling, and just the feel. The interior is highly improved. A plush quality feel. The seats hug you. The backsupport feels great but some have complained about the seat bolsters on the sides as being narrow. and hard . I find it a perfect fit , especially when I keep my left leg against where the clutch would be ( I have a 7 speed auto). It grows on you and feels very comfortable. I have the 18 inch wheels and have no road noise to speak as some reviews have said road noise with the 19 wheels is noticeable to some. The stereo is also very acceptable, and I have the Clarion with 4 speakers and not the Bose with 8 speaker swhich Ive heard is awesome. I give the car a 9.9 on a scale of 10. Go for it. I have a black and just had Ventureshield Ultra applied as a Clear Bra. Rich

HI Scott, welcome to the forums. Any more pictures of your car? it looks great!
Biggest decision you have to make, can you go from a 4 seater to a 2 seater? Can you live with a little more tire and road noise? If you say yes to both, you're ready to buy a 370Z! Check pm

I am pretty sure I can go from 4 to 2. I have a 08 Scion xB as a beater and the GF has a 4 door Lexus, so we're covered. My G may as well be a Z in that case, as nobody has ever been in the back seat, except to wipe down the seats and rear windows.
I am 90% sure I'll be making the purchase before the end of 2010, just wanted to learn everything I can before I make it. Plus see what kind of aftermarket support is out there and see how the new Z is responding to forced induction. I'll post pics of my G one day if the thread is right. Don't want to waste 370Z space with G35 pics. haha Last edited by Hybrid 350GT; 04-14-2010 at 03:57 AM. |

You've sure come to the right place for great information and advice, and very friendly folks. I've had my Z roadster for all of 2 awesome days, but I found the forum so useful that I became a premium member before the purchase. It's that good.
No regrets at all. The Z is fantastic. |
