whattup guys... ill try and make this short but i have some questions before i buy a 370.. i currently own a 2003 maxima se.. not the greatest car but its fun to drive... i know the 370 is going to be an upgrade and im excited.. my plans are to either go with blue/black or black/orange... i dont have alot of practice driving a maunal (except my brothers wolfsberg jetta) how hard is the learning curve on this car.. i know nissans love to burn oil but how does the 37o stand up.. i have some big plans for my car as ive done all my research on parts that i want.. when i finally go and buy the car im guna make a pic journal on the process.. oh and any other tri-state z members on here??

Orange being Persimmon? In a nutshell, this is one hell of a car.
Anyway, to answer, the manual in this car is definitely toward the more difficult side of the scale. However, there are a quite few females here driving manuals, so I leave it up to you my friend.

i have a cousin who has been driving manual transmission cars for years but the experience didn't help him much. he drove me to the tennis courts one time. wow, his shifts were so bad that they would cause my body to launch forward. he has got to be the worst driver who drives a manual transmission car that i know of

No gear grinding, but the 6mt does take a bit of getting used to. The shift from 1 to 2 is typically the hardest to master. I can't remember who, but someone posted some good advice for the 1-2 shift: Shift slow if you are going slow- shift fast if you are going fast. All other gears are smooth as butter. The car pulls very even through the gears. I can't comment yet on high revs since I'm still in break-in period ~200 miles to go.

Welcome aboard! Nice color combo for choice.
If you have already driven manual transmission, then you should be ok. As in anything, practice makes perfect. good luck

his jetta is a beast for what he paid.. if vw put a bigger turbo on that car it would compete with the z.. i think all in all he paid 24g for it fully loaded.. how is the under and over steer in the car or is it totally unnoticeable? ive done some research on the rev matching and it sounds like its a dream.. my plans are big for the car.. ive already have a sound system that im going to transfer from my max.. its guna be to powerful for the z.. how much room is in the trunk by the spare.. i got 2 jls w6s and i know im not guna be able to use both back there... id prob blow out the back windshield
