Hello my name is Gadget and I'm on the fence

Hello great forum folks. I signed up to take a look around and see what y'all are saying about the 370z. After talking with my dealer today, I am test driving a 2009 touring, platinum with persimmon which I really like. I know y'all are biased but hopefully you can shed some light or an opinion as if it were you making the decision. I have a 2008 Titan that I bought new and I have a great 1.99% interest rate on and as you might imagine, I'm a little upside down but that's nothing new for me (it really is a sickness) and I thought since the dealer has HAD a few 09s on the lot, they might want to deal, but I'm not so sure. The MSRP of the 370 is $35785.00 and they are offering a trade in of $23,500 on the truck, which is about 2k over clean trade in according to NADA and nothing off the MSRP. I don't care where they put the savings, I just had hoped for more than 2k in savings. I am having a hard time with giving up the awesome interest rate I have now on my Titan b/c I know there aren't any finance deals right now and the best rate I'll probably get is somewhere around 6%, plus my payment will go up a few bucks (not really a biggie) but my overall amount paid (incl. total finance charges over the life of the loan) will go up substantially. At the same time I have liked the car since the 350 came out but the new styling has really caught my attention. I'm thinking it might be better to wait until next year and grab a 2010 deal but if your like me, it's a now or never kind of thing and I really like the car. Anyway, a bunch of rambling on my part, so please give me your thoughts.

I've had about 19 cars in the last 9 years. It's an expensive habit, and I'd stick with your rockin interest rate.

Couple of quick points. You can get a 2010 at about 500 under invoice. So you should be able to get a better deal on a 2009. There are some threads on this as well.

As for your rates, you can get AAA in my region at 3.09% and there is another thread on how AK scored 3.99% and invoice. On what you would need to do to get "military" rates. http://www.the370z.com/nissan-370z-p...r-my-370z.html

...and 20994 posts since Dec. 2008. You my friend know that it's not ALL about the rate I would guess. I will admit, the rate might cause a bit of heart burn, but when I see that 370z in my garage, I forget about it. Good points. Why does it have to be so hard.

I'll see what the rate offer is tomorrow I would imagine. That's when the rubber hits the road. I am going to let the dealer know also, he needs to come down at least another 1k to be at invoice according to the info here.

The dealer is offering another 3k off the price! I didn't think they wanted to deal. So right now they are offering a total of 6k over normal trade in.
