200 miles and counting... this car is perfect!
In the flesh it looks really angular and aggressive, no photo seems to do this absolute classic car justice. I've nearly 'caused' 3 accidents today - people just gawking at it... I also test-drove the Roadster. Seemed like a totally different car to me, different character as opposed to just the coup with the top chopped of and extra support structure - in a manner of speaking. I have one single issue that is vexing me, when I take it on the track, I want to disable the 155mph limiter (With uprated tyres and other appropriate precautions etc). Based on performance/revs in 5th of the 7 speed auto box, I estimate this thing will easily do 175-180mph tops? Does that sound about right, or am I just dreaming it? Pics to follow if i can be awake and not at work in the daytime! |
