I agonized over the same decision. I really like the Nismo, but I also like all the features of the Touring with Sport Package. In the end I went with the Touring/Sport because of it's features and because I knew I would ultimately mod the car to give it even more performance. The Nismo definitely has the right look though.
I have said it before and I am saying it again. I wish Nissan would build a Nismo Touring that has the features of the Nismo and the Touring. Nissan did something similar with the 350Z with the Grand Touring which incorporated the best features of the Track and the Touring models.

Outside of the US you can get the Nismo with Leather and Bose/Nav. That may just be how it comes.

If it came that way in the US that is what I would have.

Manual Z all the way.
Been there and done the Corvette (C6) thing. I prefer the Z. No chance I would have a GT500. Those are too big and heavy for my tastes.

I think they hope for bits & pieces of that concept to work its way into the C7, but nothing official yet (I do like the stingray concept though).

Choosing
I bought a red 2010 Nismo and love it. I dumped some serious cash into a Pioneer AVIC Z110BT and 6-JL speakers with a 500W amp, Rear view Homelink and premium window tint. The Nismo is a track car and 2 things you will notice with the Nismo is it's rough ride and road noise on rough roads can be deafening. But I bought it for it's handling and the looks. I think the standard 370 is a great car but not much seperates it's ride from that of an Infinity (although it's looks are much more appealing than the Infinity). I struggled over the decission and it was purely a subjective choice. So please...I'm not being critical at all. I came close to purchasing the 370 with the sport/touring package with all the bells and whistles but opted for the more expensive Nismo knowing that I'd have to pay even more to get the upgrades I desired. My solid red Nismo looks like it's doing 90+mph sitting still. I was crusin' thru Tucson tonight with "After Dark" playing on the stereo thinkin', I be cool. Nice thing about the Nismo is the whale tail...nobody messes with ya because you look fast. The Pioneer unit is fantastic with IPod connectivity, BT, Touch Sensitive 7" screen, Navigation (with 12 million POI's), DVD, back up camera, XM radio, HD radio, CD player, and SD slot. My car is now an exclusive. Friday was spent clay barring the paint job for a Zaino Treatment. Nothing better as the Zaino treatment as it gives the red color a "wet" look.
Tonight, as I was siting on the wall with a cup of Starbucks staring at my pride & joy I thought...The Nismo is unlike any other affordable car I could have imagined owning. It was evident on the looks of passerbys as they would stop and point at the car. One such person approached me and inquired. I replied that "my wife gave it to me as a gift...she passed away from breast cancer 2 months ago". I Love ya Debe. It would be nice if they allow customization on future NISMO models. And hopefully, they go back to RF and ditch Bose.
