Default Looking to upgrade from Stg 2 Legacy GT

Hello everyone! As the title indicates, I'm looking to replace my 08 LGT and the 370 is by and far at the top of my list. Right out of the box it appears to have the power, trans, handling, braking, aesthetic looks, and price point I'm looking for. My LGT is no slouch (250whp / 260 lb-ft SAE corrected, 0-60 in ~4.8), but I miss RWD and the reliability has been downright dreadful on the Subaru. Bad enough I've decided I can't deal with it long term. (40 warranty claims in the first 18 months) So I'm primarily here to do some recon regarding the reliability and mod-ability of the 370. I have no need for massive power, so I'm thinking just an intake and cat-back would be enough to keep me satisfied. I certainly wouldn't complain if I could hit 300whp though. From the looks of things the only "issue" I've read about that concerns me is the amount of folks complaining of overheated oil. Has Nissan addressed consumers complaints regarding this yet?

Thanks for reading! Any comments/suggestions would be appreciated.

A couple pics of the current ride if anyone is interested:

Welcome.
Oil heating issue has been addressed and Nissan is correct. If you are driving on the street (as per how this car is sold) you will have no issue, but if you plan to hit the track you should install an oil cooler.
300 rear wheel HP should not be that hard to hit, it might be more than just intake/exhaust, you might have to throw in some high flow cats but it is fairly easy with just bolt ons to get 300.

Yeah, I figured if I became fixated on 300whp I'd be looking at intake, HFC's, CBE, and a tune. But at that point I would become more concerned with the reliability of both motor and the 7-speed. My plan is most likely to give it a try with just an intake and CBE first and see if that will keep me content.

That would be a plan.
There is someone in Houston I know with a 370z automatic with intake, exhaust, HFC (not sure on a tune yet), his car is doing fine and has even been to the 1/4 mile track a couple of times just for fun.

300whp seems to be a pretty easy number to hit with the 370, seems intake/hfc's/cbe gets you there, there's even a guy with those mods running 12's in an auto, not too shabby I say!

Nice Legacy, very clean.

It's pretty early to tell, but so far the 370 seems to be a pretty reliable car. Like the others said -- the only people with overheating problems are those that are hitting the track. If you just drive on the street you will be plenty fine.
