Not certain about the rest. Right now I am just looking to learn as much as I can before making the purchase. I WILL indeed get the car though. I'm not really car savy in all honesty. :/

You should definetly get the sports package b/c it's a great deal that you'll never be ever to match up against!

You don't really need touring unless you really want navi.
That just my opinion though!
And do not worry about a thing if you aren't up to par about the Z.

Sports package is what I had in mind actually. ;)

I'm debating whether I should get a 2009 or 2010, and whether the price differs much. What do you guys think?
