My name is Annette and i got my Z about 4-5 months ago. My friends, who are mechanics, wouldnt shut up about cars and i got bored one day and actually listened to their conversation and got interested. They brought me to my first car meet and i saw a z and was in aww. Ever since then i was dedicated to get a z. A year later i was able to accomplish that goal and bout a 09 370z Touring. i have gotten a tomei exhaust with an ISR y pipe and a Z1 cold air intake. I plan on getting headers and performance brakes and rotors soon. Then during the winter i will probably do some cosmetics done. so far people have been pretty chill with me and telling me the do's and dont's. What level of body armor you using for protection? Level III, III+, IV?

Not sure i know what you mean by what type of body armor

Welcome to the forum. If/when you get headers, look into getting a tune. Following you on IG. Rusty's a little senile, he must have thought he was posting on the gun thread :rofl2:

i plan on getting a popping tune after headers arrive but i was speaking to a guy at a meet that does tunes and he said that its not worth it since ill only gain > 10 hp from it but i just want to pop lol so ill still do it.

Don't use that tuner. The more breather mods you add (cai, headers), the more you'll need a tune and the more power you'll get from those mods. Most of us on here aren't fans of pops, bangs and flame tunes but to each their own.

CAI - no tune needed
CBE - no tune needed
LTH's or test pipes - no tune needed

CAI and CBE - no tune needed
CAI and LTH's or test pipes - no tune needed
CBE and LTH's or test pipes - no tune needed
A tune is recommended with the above.

CAI, LTH's or test pipes and CBE - TUNE needed.
When you use all 3 together. A tune is needed to bring the A/R back.

Most of us here don't trust Admin tuning. Seen too many bad things about him. Pops and bang tunes only attract the wrong people. Like the cops.

oh really? i was considering getting tuned by Admin tuning. I have to say that i have not gotten pulled over by a cop yet. and my car even did a small pop when there were a cop next to me.

I live in the subs lol. might not be the nicest suburb city but i can say that my car is safe on the curb if i left it over night.... or so i think. and so since im already getting LTH, and have CAI with CBE i WILL need a tune. got it.

I wear a vest from the house to the garage. Lost a tomato to random gunfire the other day.

What LTH's you going with? FI and PPE are the best. Who's installing them? Figure on an hour or so for the passenger side. About 6+ hours for the driver side, plus lots of cussing.
