Hi Everyone
Bought my 370z convertible 10 years ago.
Impressions in the mere 60K miles I've driven in it? - engine is a work of art; - gearbox has to have been out of a tractor (and an old one too); - lovely exhaust note the car occupants never hear on the open road. Faves: - 4th gear. The way the engines pulls into it from 15mph to iro 110mph is just awesome. Dislikes: - high beam indicator light is a tad too bright.. why couldn't they have toned it down a tad or better placed it out of the direct line of vision? - build quality. Then again built in Blighty so what are we to expect?! I mean how do those guys at the factory manage to miss a glaring misalignment of the boot (trunk) lid to the body? Several years ago went to the https://www.goodwood.com/motorsport/festival-of-speed/ where this car was Nissan's offering in one of the displays - and sure enough, there was the boot lid misalignment. One sure way to upset a keen salesman glued to you is to point this out and ask if it was fitted on a Friday (can't wait to get home) or Monday (still drunk from the weekend)! And the bonnet lid (when raised) catching the bottom of the vertical trim on the windscreen pillar.. Intense dislikes: - the complexity of the roof mechanism - is this over engineered or what?! - Nissan UK seriously ripping us off for spares. |
