Woo Hoo! Rollin' Fast Now!
Hi all,
I just purchased my 2010 NISMO 370z. Black and beautiful. I'll post pics as soon as I can. My take on the car is, besides being a rocket, the body styling is very reminiscent of the 911 but better looking. I love that someone who quite obviously loves cars drew it, engineered it, and built it. It's the sexiest piece of metal I've ever seen. Now that I'm done being all poetic abour my ride, I hope to see some of you on the road soon. The Rabbit |
Congratulations on your new car!

Ideas for upgrades
Anyone have any good ideas for upgrades to the 2010 NISMO? All I have seen available so far are cosmetic upgrades.
I was planning to powder coat the wheels black, and do some tinting. The Yokohama ADVAN tires on the car probably won't last too long (the way I drive anyway lol) so are there any tires that are just as good or better? I'm not a rich man so cost/tire matters too. I am looking for any other good ideas that may increase performance. There doesn't appear to be a lot of room under the hood for much. I'll take any advice. The Rabbit Pics on the car as soon as I get home and download them. |
Only cosmetic? I have only seen performance so far.
Drop down a few sections and you will see all you need for performance, Intake/Exhaust, Forced Induction, etc. Some forum favorites so far: ~Stillen Gen 3 intakes or Injen intakes (Fitment is on your own with Stillen Gen 3 currently I believe) ~Stillen or Fast Intentions exhaust, maybe Berk if they every launch it (These for purely for gains, but do sound great) ~HFC - stillen/berk/F.I./etc. or if you want you can jump on the first Long tube header by Fast Intentions ~Forced induction - Twin turbos by a few places and currently a couple of supercharger kits are being worked on, no ETA on either launch though currently. Beyond those there is not much currently, you have some pulley upgrades, weight reduction work, and a few other options in terms of power. |
Congrats on your new Z!

yeah the G3s are nice and take just a little more time to install on the Nismo, nothing too crazy.

Congrats on your new nismo Z. I love mine as well. Don't even have 200 miles on it yet :yum: |
*frown* just hit 10,000 miles. I've never kept a car past 22k, but since my car note is EXTREMELY high, I think this one is a lifer :) I love it that much anyways

New Plates
I will post pics of my car as soon as my plates arrive in the mail and I get them mounted.
On another note, I sometimes see a blue 2010 370Z rolling North on I-95 in the morning (around 0530) near Washington D.C. I have honked at you twice but no tail wag or anything in return. If I see you again, i'll honk yet again--I like to honk at fellow Z owners. Is this considered rude or uncool? |
