Hi guys - hope everyone is well. I have just purchased my dream sports car, a brand new 370z, red, 6 speed. I have never owned a car that fits me so well, couldn't be more happy with my choice. My youngest child, Austin (15 yr old) thinks I am a hero, but he doesn't know he's not going to drive it for many years - Ha! Looks like a great forum, look forward to learning all about this great car. What a great value!

Great advice. I will research this on other threads, but the dealer here strongly recommended I use Nissan's special oil at change time. Do you concur, or have I opened a can of worms here . . .

LOTS of threads on that subject. Ester oil is awesome, and the best, but to each their own. I save a few $$$ and can buy my oil anywhere, Mobil 1. I can see the justification.

A lot of guys here will do an oil change at 1,000 to 1,500 with Nissan Ester oil and then around 3,000 to 3,500 replace the Nissan Ester oil with a synthetic oil.

Great stuff, thanks guys. My plan is to enjoy this car for a long, long, time - and then pass it on to my son so he can restore "dad's car" - so anything to do with longevity is important to me. I am on my way out now to take a spin around the block, I will check back again soon. Sure appreciate all the great info. I am definitely going to enjoy this forum.
