Hello from San Antonio, Texas!

Hello guys! My name is Russ from SA,TX with a 07 NISMO 350Z, #0044. I am the Vice President of ZSPORT.org (ZCCA Z club of SA). We have over 80 members and growing.

I have been a member on the other Z/G forums since 2003. One of these days I might own a newer Z, but for now my NISMO fits the bill.

Please check out the next post for our 09 Z International Convention that is coming to SA! Plan to make it, it's a week long and it's one heck of a event if you ever been to the convention at other locations!

Hi Russ :hello:

Welcome to the Forums. I will def go there since I have someone living in Fort Worth, TX. This would be a good excuse to pay him a visit and enjoy my time in ZCON'09. Feel free to add this event to our calendar (or I can do it for you if you want)

Welcome to the forums.
p.s. sweet nismo man, any mods on it?

NIZMOZ 11-06-2008 05:55 PM

Small stuff so far. I haven't wanted to move myself out of B-Stock yet in SCCA.

I have now: K&N Panels, Motul brake fluid, StopTech SS Lines, and Ferado pads, NISMO Ti shift knob, Clear bra and Alpine deck. :)

Great mods. The Nismo is a superb performance vehicle right out of the box. I was ----> l l <-- close to buying a Nismo Z that was on sale at another forum beginning of this year. But upon receiving the news about the 370z, I changed my mind.

I bet that car handles really well. Nice NIZMO  . Any moving shot from SCCA?

I have a few videos here at a Road Course called Harris Hill Road. One of the videos shows a Porsche owner that was on slicks and me being stock and he wouldn't let me pass him. I was surprised they didn't black flag him. Oh well. :)

Awesome videoes Russ . I love how they use the umbrella to stop the car before road course :icon17: . Nissan Z has the best steering feel. Many reviewer said that on their review. I can only IMAGINE how good it is on the Nismo. The exhaust sounds pretty mean too. Around 19:50 WTF was that car? If just passed you like crazy. Highly Modified Porsche? (judging by the spoiler)

Man you kept up with this Porsche the whole race. Very nice videos. Got any more?

BTW, most important question, where did you get the camera mount? I'm looking for a good camera mount for more than a year. Def let me know.

Camera mount hand made. :) I adjusted a Honda Civic article I found on the internet to make this. I could not find it again so it might have been taken down. I got everything from Home Depot. Just widen the holes for the seat headrest rods a bit more to fit Nissans.

The Porsche that passed me at 19:50 was a highly modified race only old 911 Porsche. It was ugly fast. :) Not really any other videos other than autox ones.

A buddy of mine from ephatch.com made that camera DIY. It's a small world, here on the internet.
