Default New from Georgia :)

Hello all. New guy here for Georgia. Been wrenching on cars for a long time. Worked for Finishline MotorSports here in Georgia for some time. The owner/boss/friend passed away a few years back. Kind of fell out game after that. Over the years I have had 2 dozen cars. 95% of them Nissan. Though they were mostly swapped 240sx’s. Swapped ones include 2 red top srs, 1 s15 sr, 4 rb20's, 1 rb25, 2 ca18, 1 rb26. The 26 car I converted to rhd to keep the twins, but had one genuine rhd 93 Silvia. Plenty of oddball project cars like a r32 Skyline GTS swapped over to a sr with sr20ve head, that my bestfriend currently uses to compete in the D1 Drift events. 1981 wide body Starlet with sr swap. 91 MR2 turbo which was a waste of time/money it was so slow. Couple of ***** and giggles projects like turbo charging my beater 1.6l sentra. Then after a year or so I turned in the sentra for a tax break. With only 2weeks before they came to pick up the sentra I sold the turbo kit I made and made a supercharger kit. That didnt work out so well as Ive never played with superchargers before, hence it ran 7psi at idle, pinned the gauge at 1.5Bar by 3k and had theoretical 58psi at redline. It would only go for about 2sec before the maf and fuel would max out and bog back down, but it did manage to make it to the first stop sign before oil was drenching the street. Then about 75-100 customer/shop cars. I can keep blabbering but I need to stop talking, so basically I decided to change things around and go NA, so I bought a b13 SER. I dropped a sr20ve into it and then the boss passed. Over the few past years, I just concentrated on finishing up on school (M.E.), and just played around with the sentra here and there. The sentra does look bone stock, but runs low 13s @ 105 with 202whp 2080lbs. So its been a blast hurting peoples feelings in the bone stock looking na 2L DD Sentra. Thing is I went through 3 trannys in 15k and told my self Im done with the sentra on the 3rd trans. The third trans took a poo on Import Face Off about 2 months ago and poured trans fluid down the track. So now Im selling the sentra for boltons for the 370. I should be getting the 370 in about 2months as Im finally graduating in two weeks after a horrible 9years of school.

Anyway Im basically done with blabbering for now. I should have 75% or so of pictures of the cars/projects I mentioned. I was using ImageStation which now does not exist. Either way, I know yall are Z guys, though I did own just one z, which was a 1973 240z, I uploaded a few pics. Plans were to do another rb26, but my friends were on a dirt bike hype so I traded it for a yz250f, which after I bought mine, my friends flaked out and I was left with a dirtbike sitting in the shed. Eitherway, if yall are interested in seeing the SX cars or any other ones, JLMK and I'll upload them. PS: I plan on getting a manual base with sports pkg in either white or black. I have a thing for black cars as most of mine were, but am thinking white. Thing is my gf has a white g35 with sport pkg, so she told me to not get a white one. What she does not know, is her stating that, makes me want to get the white one that much more.

Yalls new buddy,
-Voya

Welcome.

I ended up with a white base w/sport package as well. I really didn't like the white G35's but on the Z with the pearl it is really really nice. Stunning in the sunlight.

Very pretty paint on that 240Z. 20 years ago I had a 240Z, but it was no where near as nice as that one.

No, that was not me. The guy I got it from about 3years ago was from Cali, bought the car in arizona. That guy said he spent 4500 for paint and body work. You might know the old school Z shop off Canton rd. They have worked on the z I bought before I ever bought it, for the months the guy was staying in GA with his parents(tall guy early 30s with sholder height hair). The only person I know that has a 240z in burn orange worked at Main Auto before they closed down about a year ago. His looked just like mine but was lowered on watanabes knock offs. If I can remember correctly he had an L28 in it and he custom made his own Intake manifold. Looked very clean inside and out. That guy was 20 to 25 years old. Not sure if my description connects with you, though hopfully it provided some benifit.

He was about that age, maybe a little younger, as he was just getting ready to go to boot camp. He painted his in his garage, I believe. It was 350Z Lemans Sunset.

That's Eddie Radatz' shop you are referring to. He has helped me in the past with a few of the old cars projects.

I think I use to see you around from time to time...I use to ride an 06 GSX-R 600, gray on black, and a metallic gray modified S2000.

I rode up and down Hwy 92 and Alpharetta Hwy a lot. I think you also met my friend Hunter who drove a red Z32 (original owner for nine years).

Anyways...welcome to the boards; glad to have you on board.
