Welcome aboard. Congrats on your g/f's purchase. Don't be surprised if you start to swap cars more often. LOL!

yeah trust me, all the drooling fools here will be begging for those pics, but there's a thread for that.

we are planning a meet in roundrock for the sunday after christmas...might want to stop by and meet a few of the locals (well, texans, maybe not really local, lol)

Check the "texas" section of the forums for details.

Thanks! I actually don't really know how to drive stick very well, although I've been able to practice a little on one of my step-dad's cars, but I'm not too worried, especially since it has syncrorev match on it.

iceman21_23 12-08-2009 01:00 PM

the thing about driving a manual transmission isn't shifting gears from 1-2-3 etc. but to get going is the hardest part. syncro-rev doesn't help with that at all.

vipor 12-08-2009 01:09 PM

SRM makes down shifting unbelievably smooth and easy. shifting is still a lil blah for the first few on these girls. hey, at least is isn't a ford ranger lol. i hate kneeing myself in the chest to shift :p

Rnmovr12 12-08-2009 02:28 PM

vipor 12-08-2009 02:30 PM

i've only stayed in austin for a total of like 3 days. 3 effin AWESOME days lol. helped that i went down there with 3 or 4 friends and new a fair amount of other ppl there. hell, that was the first time i ever blacked out. last time i did also. i don't recommend going that far, but it all ended up okay, so eff it :D
