just wanted to stop in and say hi from a jeeper. my girlfriend just ordered a 2010 Z and has been lurking here for a while and wanted me to check out the forum. i know alot about jeeps and hopefully will learn alot about the Z so i can help her out and we can both learn. anyway we are both very excited to get the Z and will end up taking alot of pictures of it.

north austin. i wont have pics till we get it which will be sometime in january. we were hoping to get it right around xmas but she called the dealer asking what the ETA was and he said he would know 30 days prior to it being shipped from the factory and then said most likely early january. unless you meant of the girlfriend. thats not up to me thats up to her hahaha

Thanks! I actually don't really know how to drive stick very well, although I've been able to practice a little on one of my step-dad's cars, but I'm not too worried, especially since it has syncrorev match on it.

the thing about driving a manual transmission isn't shifting gears from 1-2-3 etc. but to get going is the hardest part. syncro-rev doesn't help with that at all.

SRM makes down shifting unbelievably smooth and easy. shifting is still a lil blah for the first few on these girls. hey, at least is isn't a ford ranger lol. i hate kneeing myself in the chest to shift

i've only stayed in austin for a total of like 3 days. 3 effin AWESOME days lol. helped that i went down there with 3 or 4 friends and new a fair amount of other ppl there. hell, that was the first time i ever blacked out. last time i did also. i don't recommend going that far, but it all ended up okay, so eff it
