New guy
Just wanted to say hello. I'm new to the forum and really considering getting a 370z. I'm trying to decide between the touring w/sport pkg 6spd vs. the base w/sport pkg 6spd. My main reason for considering the touring is I like the leather interior. Will the BOSE in the touring hinder any aftermarket speakers or a touchscreen head unit? Right now I'm trying to decide between the yellow, blue and white but heavily leaning toward the yellow. My mother-in-law works at a Nissan plant and I can get the true employee pricing but I was wondering if anyone has gotten a better deal than that? From what I've seen from a few dealers around my area they are pricing all of their remaining 09s at around $500 below invoice. I hate haggling but if I could get a better deal than the employee pricing it would be worth it. But also, I have a trade that I'm hoping I can get pay-off on so that may be where I have to do most of the haggling. Anyway, wanted to say hello and hopefully before long I'll be an owner

Yeah I saw that yellow wasn't going to be offered for the '10s. Replaced with the black cherry I think? Speaking of the black cherry, is it close to the brickyard color from the 350z?

Oh I definitely want the sport package, I think I could live without the leather seats that the touring package comes with but other than the leather and the optional navigation system I'm not sure what else the tourning really has to offer. I suppose if I were planning on leaving the sound system totally stock I'd be more apt to get the fully loaded touring with the built-in navigation system but I'd rather put my own touch on that so the base with the sport package seems more likely for me at this point.
Thanks for the pics on the black cherry. |

if your going aftermarket stereo and touch screen then you would be good to get the base+sports package...
touring gives you leather/powered/heated seats and nav option with blue tooth, steering wheel controls...and the garage door opener on the review mirror...dont think i missed anything...

Ok cool, thanks for the info on the touring model. The powered/heated seats along with the steering wheel controls and garage door opener sound pretty nice. I know my wife would like the heated seats
Oh and I just listened to your exhaust and I think it sounds very nice!! |
