New Z :D
Hi Everyone!
I've been lurking around for a while and decided to join the community! Long before buying my car, I've been doing a lot of research on these forums to learn as much as I can. So far after 2,000 miles, my Z is bone stock. I am planning on getting the HKS Hi-Power exhaust eventually and maybe Stillen Gen 3 intakes. I ordered the Tommy Kaira Hebi Bebi shift knob two months ago and it is finally arriving tomorrow! I am still curious as to how to remove the oem shifter without damaging it though. It seems like there is a lot of different information from here about how to go about doing it. So far I have the tools (locking pliers and a rubber strap wrench), but I just wanted to be sure because I don't want to end up damaging anything. So any tips or advice would be more than welcomed! Nice to meet you all again. :) |

Hopefully it is not a pain to remove or install. I'll try to get it on tonight and post some pics if it works. I just hope nothing breaks... :ugh2: |
Oh great! I hope I don't damage anything during the process... I'll post some pics if I'm able to get it installed tonight.
