New here . New to the Z. From SE GA
Hello all. I've had the car for about 4 months. Love every second of it. The good and the bad. I bought the car used: a 2009 Sport model with 69k miles.
I'm experiencing the chattering clutch. It sucks very much. I made my first post here about it. I'm disappointed the cure is to change the oil to synthetic. Hope for the best and turn the radio up. Oh well. Most of my buddies run c6 corvettes. I've got 1 with over 5 to the wheels and the rest mildly stock. I've read up a little on the VVel System and am curious to see if they figured out a way to adjust the cam lift and duration for "free" HP. Most posts I find with a quick google search come back from the 2010 era. If anyone wants to comment their opinions and findings here please do so. I look forward to hanging around. My first mod will probably be test pipes. I'm thinking Motordyne ART pipes. Very interested in the Tomeii Expreme full Titanium. It saves a lot of weight. I do plan on slowly but continually building on the car and going for big numbers. I'd like to spank on the LS and 5.0 boys ( I did see a build thread on a LS3 370z.... hmmm. I'll be around. Nice to meet everyone. |
