Nissan 370Z Forum - New to 370Zs and to this Forum!

I recently purchased a 2014 370Z Touring Edition in Pearl White after owning
V8 Mustangs (2000, 2004 & a 2006) for many years. I'm here to say that I am quite happy with my new purchase!

While owning Mustangs I joined and enjoyed Mustang forums, such as StangNet, and used these sources to research and learn how to do numerous mods. Well the 2006 Stang grew old and required a lot of $$ to get it up to snuff so I went about searching out another. It didn't take me long to realize the price point on a 2015 V8's are outrageous! As my search turned into months I ran into a distant buddy of mine who said that he owns a 2008 Z, enjoys the grip to the road, and recommended that I at least test drive one.

Turning my attention away from a Mustang was at first difficult to do but I broaden my search to include Z's and was pleasantly surprised. The first 370Z I test drove was a 2012 and I loved the way it cornered, found the pickup fine, and the beefiness of the engine was okay (certainly nothing like a muscle car V8). The 2014 that I bought was void of any road wear, a real looker, and has fantastic rims. Now, without going to crazy just yet, I'm researching mods especially those that improve initial responsiveness. I look forward to chatting with you all and learning from your experience's.
