Hi,

Just quick intro here - I may pop up for advice now and then. Bought a new 2016 Sport with 6SPD from Boardwalk Nissan in Redwood City last week.

Took delivery Saturday and great first impressions with this car - dealer contact was easy to work with and very happy with the transaction...highly recommend them.

I went in to look at a LEAF lease and came home with the 370Z. Wife said it was a good choice - such a sweetie.

Usability/Drivability:
- very comfortable on daily drive and really like the basic Bose system, it seems very balanced (I know some of you don't like the system)
- lots of fun for spirited driving (previously owned a porsche 996, bmw m-coupe, and several different corvettes and this is better than all of them)
- have been stuck in a few traffic jams and the shifting is easy enough that I am really glad I got the stick, it's so much nicer than driving the auto

The Nissan bose entertainment system:
- iphone integration works very nicely, at first was annoyed that it didn't have bluetooth streaming but hey, I need to charge my phone anyway - so the USB connection would be there no matter what. Handsfree calling works very nicely over bluetooth. The steering wheel controls work great.
- there is nowhere good to put my phone so I leave it by the e-brake lever and it slides all around. (need to find a holder solution for this)

Noise and Vibration level:
- incredible amount of of tire noise on some roughened concrete freeways (like to lessen this but it only happens on certain roads)
- generally like the sound of the engine, love how it revs freely and loads up nice torque over a very wide band, probably won't change exhaust
- quite a bit of vibration in the shifter at idle, will see if that goes away as it breaks in, but not something to worry about

Transmission and brakes:
- manual transmission shifts great, regular shifter is crisp, no need for a short shifter, love the clutch/shifter feel, don't really get the rev-matching yet but tried it on and off and seems pretty subtle and may come to appreciate it
- brakes are great but of course have not really put them to any extreme tests yet.

Economy:
- mpg first day about 12 mpg (up and down hills by my house) YIKES!
- mpg second day about 30 mpg (mostly freeway) so no bad:)
- average mpg after a week about 25 - very happy with this...
- price paid, well, I'm embarrassed how little I paid for this car for what it can do and how nice it really is!

Need:
- an indoor car cover
- clean out the cr@p in my garage so I can put it in there
- put a mat in the 'trunk' area
- find a place for the other three cars and the boat
- definitely need to tint the back window

Cheers!
Joe
