Yet Another New Member and Owner of a 370Z from Ohio

Greetings!

I'm a new member and a new owner of an '11 370Z from Columbus OH. I bought the car about couple weeks ago. It's a Touring in Magnetic Black with a 6-sp manual and 28k miles. So far it has had paint correction, glass coating, and clear bra custom installed (no pre-cut kit, everything is cut free-hand with folded edges where applicable) by Julius Poa.

This Z34 is meant to replace the '8 Z33 Enthusiast that has been serving as my wife's daily driver/winter beater for the last 2-3 years and I'm kinda having trouble selling it. I looked at some mods and came up with mostly suspension. AutoAnything has Koni suspension kit (springs and dampers) on sale and it's pretty tempting. I've also considered Eibach for anti-sway bars but after driving it spiritedly, I found the car may not need any help in suspension department, at least not yet. I have not decided on exhaust and wheels; I'm going to have to come up with an exhaust quickly as my wife usually complains about the quietness of stock systems in her cars; the Z33 has Nismo S-type.

So, before this intro becoming too long, I'm glad I've been approved to participate in this forum.

Congratulations and welcome! :tiphat:

Good choice on MB with Touring!

Thank you. The Magnetic Black may become the turning point of converting my stable into all black.

Beautiful color when clean, but sure hard to keep it that way. Worth it though.

I agree. My two other vehicles are black and one has the same glass coating (22PLE) as the Z34; the coating makes it bearable keeping the paint in reasonably presentable condition.

Excellent! I figured there must be Z34 owners in Columbus in this forum. Are you a member of any of the local clubs?

Will you be getting personalized tags? What will your first mods be?

All of my vehicles have a personalized license plate; this time around, the Z34 will eventually inherit the one currently on the Z33; a mundane, regular sequential plate for now.

Well, first wave of mods are done; they are clear bra, paint correction, glass coating, window tint, debadge, engine cover removal, and steering column lock disable (fuse pulled). Wheels & tires, anti-sway bars, exhaust, and maybe springs/dampers.

How about yours?
