Hi from E90post and SoCalE90
Hi everyone. My very first car was a 1970 240Z, a model I built when I was 10-years-old. When I was old enough to drive, I went through a bunch of Mustangs and Supras until I eventually purchased a 1974 260Z shell along with several 280Zs for parts. I built the 260Z for autocrossing, but it was a bit extreme with the mods i did to it.
Some of the 370Z styling cues give me that nostalgic feeling of the original Z, and I'm thinking about getting one some day for fun.

I have some old ones of the 260Z stashed away somewhere. The car sits at a friend's barn in Kansas. Since it is not street legal, I couldn't drive it here, nor do I have the room.
A year after I purchased my car, the 335i was introduced. It has awesome performance and handling plus creature comforts, but the new Z seems to match the 135i's performance. Plus the 370Z will feel more like a sports car. The new M3, though awesome, really slurps the gas. I would not get the Z to replace my current ride, because I need a 4-seater. How long was the 350Z around for? I love the 370Z styling and hope it stays around for awhile. I'm also curious to know if the 350Z went through a few changes over the years. The fuel gauge on the new 370Z should be changed. One last question, are turbo mods to the 350Z practical in terms of gas mileage, and are they street legal? I have the feeling the answer is no, especially as I live in California, a State the requires periodic smog inspections and checks. Here are a few of my latest ride:
