Default S2000 TO My 370z no regrets

Hey, just wanted to thank everyone for all of the amazing information here. I had my S2000 for over 11 years and was hesitant to give her up. I Purchased an 09 MBP 370z and I am loving it. I must say the power and style leave me more than content. Although I loved my S2000 I wanted something new and was finally able to pull the trigger. I am actually very impressed with the 7 speed automatic. I already pulled the fuse for the steering lock , even though it was replaced with Rev D. I just didn't trust that it was a fix so I now have peace of mind. If it wasn't for you guys I would have never known to do that. Very happy to be part of the Z club.

Nice work on the ESCL. There were several cases of Rev D units failing even before the recall was issued.

Congrats on doubling your torque! haha I love the S2K as well, been involved with s2ki through a friend of mine for years. As 6MT said, where in NJ? I'm from Freehold. Race in South Jersey a lot (autocross).

Had an AP2 for about a year before getting rid of it. Completely gutless outside under 6000rpms and felt like an idiot reving it to move.

Test drove a 2014 nismo Z and it only feels marginally better powerwise than the S truth be told.

Really?? I had a s2k I thought it was torqeless and sounded like 9k redline was going to blow lol...night and day differences between z and s2k when it comes to power. Got tired of the s2k quickly, love the z.

Hey,

Similar story here. Had 2006 S2000 for over 8 years, bought it brand new and the car was great. But it was getting older and came time for a change. It was really sad to let it go.

Do you have a pic of your S2K? Here is mine:
