Default New Here

Hey y'all. I'm new here. I don't currently own a 370Z.I am leaving for the middle east in a few weeks for work and when I get back next year a new Z will be one of my first purchases for myself. Been looking at base coupe with sport package. Red, 6 speed. Never owned a red sports car before. To be honest I have owned a 1st gen. Toyota MR2 since 1990. Still do. Will be getting rid of it. I could buy a completed car for less than what my car needs. Anyway, I want something new and with power. I'm tired of having to rev the snot out of my engine to get any power and then not got very much. lol Don/t get me wrong, my MR2 is an absolute blast to drive, just finally getting tired of such an old car. Just too many body and trim noises, getting hard to get parts for it, and getting hard on my body. Also I want something with more room. lol I do currently own a 2007 Xterra 2wd SE. I have to say, the VQ40 is a beast. The Xterra will smoke my little MR2. It also rides better. Sad huh.

Anyway, I do have 1 question. I have tried searching here and online anywhere. I promise I searched. What is different about the NISMO engine. You always read about the chassis stiffening, and suspension, and aero, but not the engine. What did Nissan do to get that HUGE extra 18hp?
Me personally, I don't like the NISMO body. I prefer the regular Z look.
