New!
Hello! Just picked up a 14 Z. Black with 4k on it. Traded up from a 06 GTi which I left completely stock for the daily driver status. I put like 110 miles a day on that thing, and it was a champ the entire time, (184k at the time of trade in!) however I moved to Santa Barbara, California about 6 months ago, and now I have a 1.5 mile "commute" to work, so I can have a nice little HPDE/auto-x/time attack car and not worry about the commute. The 370Z was a perfect choice for me, and I'm glad I didn't buy a BRZ or FR-S! My first impressions of the car have been very positive. I love the feel of the car, and it's waaay faster than the GTi. It's a base, so I think changing out the pads and some SS lines, along with a big oil cooler will be my first mods, as I plan on tracking this car alot. Anyways, I've already seen the SocalZ canyon runs, and I think I'm going to go to the Angles crest run this weekend, so I'll see you guys there! Here's a pic of the ride at the dealer, and with the GTI creepin in the backround.

Congrats on the new ride and the short commute! I have the same commute, but I always take a longer way so it's like two miles. LOL!!! Welcome and enjoy your new Z.

Thanks for the welcomes! Yes working down the street is completely new to me, but I'm definitely getting used to it hahaha. I'm just stoked I can finally have a sports car that I don't have to worry about racking up the mileage with. I did the modded commuter prior to my GTi with a WRX, but it was always a compromise. Anyways, here's a pic of the z on a mountain pass after a little shakedown yesterday.
