Enter the Lady in Black
I got my Z one week ago and so far loved every minute I spent with "her"!
Unfortunately, streets were wet when I left the dealer with only 19 kilometers on the clock, so she got dirty on the way home already. Since then, weather hasnīt improved much and there was no sunny day to take nice pictures yet. After one week, I already drove 690 km with her and she needs a bath before taking good pics. Iīm gonna start a journal and a gallery to share my experiences with my new Z with you. And I would like to thank everyone here for the help and for sharing my enthusiasm and happiness!

Nice! Congrats. Are those custom tags, or is it a coincidence that Z and 370 show up? I'm jealous that you guys up north get the rear wiper, it would have come in handy down hee in Maryland since we've been having so much rain lately.

Thanks, guys!
Sorry for disappointing those expecting something even more curvaceous... Quote:
Us old-worlders all get the rear wiper as standard, I guess, as well as the rear fog light. The tags are custom, as far as possible. Here in Germany, the tags are standardized like this: First 1-3 letter group has to be the city or county you live in. Major Cities are single-letter (B=Berlin, M=Munich), smaller cities or counties are 2 or 3 letters. Then has to follow a 1 or 2 letter group and then a 1 to 4 digit number. Many communities allow to customize those last two groups within the rules and if not already taken, of course. Many people do it, to get their initials and birthdates onto their car tag. For my city (ED=Erding), "ED Z 370" was already taken, so I added my first name initial and took "ED WZ 370" which was free. Something including "370Z" will not be possible in my country due to the abovementioned rules. If no custom registration is requested, the community administration will assign a random one. Custom tags cost me €12.- extra added to the registration fee.

Did anyone notice how one almost does NOT notice the front and rear parking sensors?
I was fearing that they would look ugly on the carīs beautiful plain curves. But on the black paint, you almost donīt see them from only a few feet away. And also the retracting headlight washer arms donīt hurt the carīs looks at all, IMHO.

It wasnīt my intention to rub anyone, and thereīs also no reason to complain.
You are going to get the rear camera as an option for the nav or a mirror monitor, thatīs even superior. Havenīt heard of something like that for the European market yet. If it helps you feel better, we donīt get tyre pressure monitoring and our navs donīt have harddrives or AV inputs. Iīm not into comparing d**k lengths here. Iīm happy for everyone who got what he wants and what makes him happy. Iīm grateful that people are happy for me and my new Z vice versa. And youīd all be sorry for me or laugh at me if you looked at what I had to pay for all this, compared to U.S. pricing...
