New to the 370z not new to the Z car platforms
Hey, how are you guys doing today? Well as you probably guessed since I'm posting in this section I picked up a 2009 370z today with 15,000 miles on it. I was torn between this car and a all black 2014 but I couldn't justify taking the hit of a new car as soon as I drove off the lot. It is super clean was owned by a 60 year old man and has the sport package. I already ordered the AEM cold air intakes. Now I'm in the market for a oil cooler which ill be pulling the trigger on today. I started posting videos of my 350z on Youtube which unfortunately I sold to a 17 year old kid soooo I really hope he doesn't destroy the car I slowly built. My youtube account is turboxtcx. I have some simple videos showing the build of my 350z towards the end and some other videos taking down some cars gorge cruises. I also make a lot of trips to formula drift and club loose events down in NJ. My last car was a 06 interlagos fire 350z. It had every bolt on I could get other than turbos or supercharged. I was going to build a LS2 for it but I just got sick of the car now I am in the 370z and I'm bittersweet about selling the my car, but its nice to move on to new things. Well I hope this site is as insightful as my350z.com was. ill post a few pictures and if you guys are interested in checking out my youtube page ill also attach a link to my page.
Thanks guys can't wait to finally get this car built. Last edited by Chasingstatus; 05-28-2014 at 05:03 AM. |

Hey guys just thought id add a few more videos. Had the car a week and already dumping money into it lol. I have to say for the first week, this car is a lot more well rounded. Comparing it to my 350z stock for stock it is leaps and bounds above the Older platforms. Don't get me wrong I love all the Z platforms all the way down to the older 280z. This 370z is really growing on me. Now I have the kid on Christmas feeling everyday before I go into work like sitting at the window at my house waiting for the ups and fedex guy to show up. Well thanks for the welcome and have a good day.

I feel the same way brother. I came from a 2007 touring vert to a 2014 with the sport package. I do miss my leather but other than that I love this car. I'd say welcome but I'm so new I can't post pics yet either lol.

Thanks man. It was the 06 interlagos fire stock color. I loved that car and like I said wanted to LS swap.... but the numbers and money wasn't what I wanted to invest into a car with 99k on body. I know its not a ton of miles but yeah I was nervous. I was a bit hesitant on selling the car to him since he is only 17. I kept telling him to be responsible with the car and such. I never felt older telling this kid not to crash my baby lol. But thanks for the welcome man.
