just got a new 370z brilliant silver.base manual 6spd. love the car.except for the transmission.ive read comments about the tranny but is it really normal shifting from 1st to 2nd to hear a clunking sound?so far everything is perfect and dont get the base stereo.it sucks coz i have it.

i have the same clunk as well, 6mt...i just take my time and try not to force it into second...

Everyone knows this but it is better than the bose believe it or not. Much easier to upgrade as well. If you need help upgrading that I am the man you would want to talk to. Welcome to the forum glad to have you and enjoy your stay. :tiphat:

you can also try a file sharing site like photobucket...its free and allows you to upload images straight from their site at a bigger resolution...some people dont like it because of the advertisements...easy enough to look past and its free...

thats good to know its normal coz this is my first z car.coz ive never heard a loud clunking sound from my tranny before i got this car.i even drive this like an old lady and still would hear it clunk.ppl look at me like i dont know how to drive a stick.haha
