New 2013 Nismo Owner
Hey guys I am a new owner of a Nismo 370z. I decided getting a 2013 instead of a 2014 because of pricing. Its a barebones Nismo so I plan on doing a few of upgrades like new aftermarket headunit/gps and maybe a reverse camera. Which brings me to my first question on the message board. Can I buy the factory unit and have it installed or do I need to go aftermarket?

Pics to come :) Thanks for the welcome. I've discovered this car is hard to keep under the speed limit and extremely fun to drive.

Congrats and welcome!
Here are a few mods that I did. I went with the Alpine W900BT, PDX5 Amp, Direct connect Alpine Rear Camera, Boston SR60 (Fronts), S35 (Rears) & 10" G3 Sub (G2 pictured). It really makes for a nice overall system. http://www.the370z.com/members/stino...ure33756-a.jpg http://www.the370z.com/members/stino...ure33752-a.jpg http://www.the370z.com/members/stino...e55281-2-5.jpg http://www.the370z.com/members/stino...ure55280-2.jpg http://www.the370z.com/members/stino...ure55278-4.jpg http://www.the370z.com/members/stino...ure55277-5.jpg http://www.the370z.com/members/stino...re55272-11.jpg |
Welcome! +1 on the pics!

Can you install factory Nav? No. Or if you're completely retarded you can for... $10k+
Welcome! |
Thanks for the advice on the camera . Maybe I should clarify, I don't want the factory nav just a backup camera. The visibility is a little difficult when reversing for me.

To the OP: Welcome! And it's already stated, but you're better off going aftermarket. You can get the review mirror w/rear-cam and install I believe, or just go completely aftermarket and use the HU for the back up screen. |
