Finally got a 370Z !
Hey everyone !
I FINALLY got a 370Z! After selling my 350Z last november, I really missed being behind the wheel of a Z...especially since I was driving an 03 Elantra for the past half a year... It's only a base coupe model but I'm still happy as anything ! I'm also a new member of this forum, I hope to learn from all of you here ! Here's a pic of it: http://i.imgur.com/6aNnm4S.jpg BTW. I just picked up my car last Tuesday and I wanted to know if you guys think this is a problem. There seems to be rust under the car already. Should I make a big deal out of this? The rust is pretty noticeable from a distance too. There's also a pretty huge scuff mark on a side pillar I can't get out in the trunk. Rust underneath: http://i.imgur.com/c4fvK0P.jpg http://i.imgur.com/0PL1VYm.jpg Thanks everyone !! |
Holy hell! It's new isn't it? I'd go back and ask what the hell is up.
And welcome!

wtf? new car with rust?
interesting.... |
Hi
congrats!
congrats on the new car!
Thanks for the warm welcome guys! And I contacted them and they said to just bring it to the service center and they'll take care of it. I have no idea what they are going to do though.
Just as an update, went to the dealership today. Guy at service said it's normal and didn't do anything. Wasted a trip there even though I sent them pictures and they told me to come in.

Rust on the oem exhaust is normal. Rust on the chassis is not or on the body. Rust per our manual is covered under lifetime I believe.

that bumper looks totally diff than the color of the hood and fenders, weird? haha Hmmm Maybe the rust is cause your in NJ? I bought mine 3 years old down here in Fl and have no issues and I took my stock exhaust off after the first 3 months when my FI came in. Still no rust on the stock one. Looks good though!
Just the flanges. I wouldn't worry about it.
Congrats
Welcome to another 2013 owner! FYI my exhaust looks the same as said before as long as its not the the frame/body you are good.
