Traded in my '09 for a '13!
Not technically a "new" Z owner, but I recently traded my 09 PW 6spd sport base for a '13 touring, sport, auto in gunmetal. I love it! As I've gotten older I grew to be bothered by driving stick. I've loved this auto trans since I first drove it years ago. Got a steal on this '13. I love the new suspension and the seats are so much better than the base. Can you confirm that the '13's auto shifts up for you automatically? Or does it hold the gear until the driver shifts

Yes it holds it as far as I can tell, but I haven't redlined it in manual yet, only went to about 6.5k and then i shifted. Ill have to test at redline but I read it will just hit the rev limiter.

In manual mode is just rev limits and stutters. It'll flash the indicator at you early, but you can still go up just into the reline. I feel like a fool when I'm slow clicking up, but when you get it in the sweet spot, the tire chirp is lovely.
