Hello to my new Family!
I wanted to introduce myself as a proud owner of a new 370Z. First off, I want to thank all members of this forum that helped make my decision to follow through with the purchase of a 2009 370Z Monterey Blue / Persimmon / Touring / Sport Pkg / 6MT / NAV. I love this car! And apparently so does everyone I see at a red light. I’m not an ugly guy, but I’ve never gotten so many looks. Dang I look good in this Blue Rocket. Or maybe this car just looks so dang good people don’t even care who is driving it because they are so distracted looking at the car.
Anyway, I must be honest. I was one of those guys whose mind was set on the new Camaro ever since the concept was announced. I love the looks of that straight line tank. But that was the problem; it is a straight line tank. I’ve got a background of sport bikes so my heart is dear to pushing the limits on curvy roads. But with a combination of the nagging wife and fellow sport bike riders whose life ended too soon I parted ways with two wheels. So then I was left with a constant craving for curvy roads and I needed a fix. After doing my homework on a car that could meet my desires and financial means I believe I made a great decision not getting the Camaro. Not to mention I lost all respect for Chevy Dealers who were adding a “Market value adjustment” of $4,500-$7000 on top of MSRP. That is ludicrous. There should be a law against that crap. It’s like ticket scalping. But, I guess GM allows it to happen. Another reason I purchased the Z was for long term potential. Let’s just say I reside a few miles from Z1 Motorsports. I never had a valid reason to stop by Z1 until I had something to talk to them about. So I stopped by a few days ago. I am glad I did. I must say Z1 is based on a group of great people. I felt very welcome there. Everyone took time out of their busy schedule to meet me and show me what they were working on. They have a top notch shop. I look forward to spending my money on performance modifications there. And I have already reserved my spot for the “Show and Shine” at the Z Nationals. I can’t wait to see all the Z’s in my home town! I love this Car! I don’t think I will ever regret purchasing this car. Yes, it is sex on wheels. I’ve got plenty more to say but it is bed time… Thanks! Take a look at my Z! Nissan 370Z Forum - Bromotoz's Album: My 370Z
