Just picked up my first ever Z... 7A w/ sports package in monterey blue...

Snagged it for 32,800 from **** Scott Nissan in Canton Michigan... They bent over backwards to pull this car in for me from Wisconsin... Good people.

Can't wait to have the windows tinted, and get a decent audio system installed. The rear view camera thing would be very cool too. Any other reccomendations? What's the point of powder coating the rims and calipers, just for the ease of cleaning? Really want to do something cool with little compartment in place of the nav system, any good ideas besides a LCD?

Question about the manual mode... does down shifting instead of breaking pose any real wear threat to my trans? Maybe someone that has owned a 350 for a while can comment?

Thanks for any replies.

actually from what i read.. it actually helps the whole trans system by having the computer rev the up to rpms that match the current speed ur at.. so i think rather than threat, it actually stretches the life of the trans longer.. this is from what ive red, someone correct me if im wrong.
