Coming home from school someone hit my driver side fender and caused me to hit the curb. Insurance said it was a total lost :(

No offense, but are you gunna be able to afford this car? I understand if your parents are helping. But make sure you can afford the insurance, maintenance, gas, parts, etc..

Its a BIG difference from your little RSX

I'm in college, and I will be able to afford it, working more in the summer now that i don't have school. plus the money from insurance will be a big help.

This. Get used to the physics involved BEFORE you start modding it. It's got a ton more power than a rsx, and it's going to respond very differently. Things you could have gotted away with in a fwd compact will throw you off the road backwards in a rwd sports car. Ease into it. Go find a EMPTY parking lot the next time it's damp, and go feel out what not to do. I'm not saying go drift it. I'm saying learn where the point of no recovery occurs. An autox or two might not be a bad idea to learn car control.

Hello!

VincentLe 06-21-2013 04:32 PM

thanks everyone, I've had this Z little over a month now and this car is just amazing.. Planning to get some BC coils in the future just need to save some money!

Chuck33079 06-21-2013 05:18 PM

If you're looking to improve handling, skip the coilovers until you can afford a good set. Buy a set of sway bars first to tide you over. If you're looking to lower the car conservatively, buy a good spring/shock combo.

That and get some performance tires. Best handling mod you can do!
