New Owner - Calgary, Canada
2011 Touring Coupe with all the goodies. Only 7000 miles. Pristine. Took the family (one at a time of course) out driving tonight. My daughter squealed. My wife screamed, my son laughed excitedly then just got jealous. You know, there is really something to be said for a mid-life crisis. The engine and power are what I expected having driven several highish horsepower cars. But the handling... I know its an oxymoron, but brute-finesse. Friggin' nice car. The best part though, is being able to sell the bloody geritol-infused Volvo. I've hated that damn safety-first car for 5 years. It spoke to me every day. "Slow down, SLOW DOWN" it said. Good riddance. Look forward to chatting with you folks. And to the nice folks at Stillen. The last fun users group I belonged to was Contour SVT owners (don't laugh. That was a raucous, angry, go-fast little tuned BMW killer. Loved it.) Look forward to conversing with passionate owners again. I put a sign on the road in front of my driveway letting my neighbours know there is something new in the neighbourhood. A 15 foot long black number 11. I'll exit this intro note with my 15 year old daughters warning. "Dad, if I were you, I'd watch out for the po-po." Good advice. |

K, um, two very newbie (SORRY) questions.
1. With a start button, how does one put the car into accessory mode to listen to the radio without starting the engine? 2. AND I DID SEARCH THE BLASTED OWNERS MANUAL FOR THIS) - I get how to set the clock in the nav screen, but how does one set the clock that is the third dial on the dash (and really, why the heck didn't Nissan just synchronize these. They seem to know how to synchronize everything else. Har har. Thanks guys. Forgive the newb. |

Assuming you have a standard you just dont press down the clutch when you go to hit the go button. The car will only go into ACC. Not sure what the method is on a automatic. The clock on the dash is set on the same screen that shows the temp outside. Go into the settings on that and you will find the clock settings. You can turn off the clock on the NAV (I did back when I had my triple gauge clock because if they were not synced 100% it would drive me crazy. Welcome to the club! Mitch

You can also go into accessory mode from the engine on position. Just push the Start button twice quickly and the car will stop the engine but stay in accessory mode.
The NAV clock and the triple gauge clock are NOT synchronised...

Welcome. I'm a fairly new owner myself and look forward to opening the garage door everyday. Pics or it didn't happen.
