About my new purchase, I just upgraded from a peppy slightly modded 2008 Honda Civic Si. The 350/370z line has been a target car of mine for a while and test drove quite a few prior to purchasing a 2012 gunmetal grey base 370z (no nav, no rev match, which I like, 18" rims, wish it had 19s).
I plan on this to be my first serious tuner car because I think the platform warrants the extra dollars my previous cars didn't. My question to the forum (lots of great info and research BTW) I wanted to get your opinion on what order my dream parts should be purchased as I will not be able to gather them all at once. I have a pretty good list of what items I've settled on I just need to know what your suggestions are for most noticeable upgrades, as in the things I will feel best about purchasing first by seeing noticeable increases to both performance and feel as I continue on to the next piece. All that said here is the list. A simple 1,2,3 list of 1 being best most noticeable to etc. In your opinion: AEM 41-1001C intake (chose this because it seems to be the one with the most care to incorporate the MAFS rather than trick it via progressive tube diameters) Stillen short throw shifter Stopteck cross drilled brakes and pads and upgraded brake lines KM V3 coil over kit( still optioning the idea of V1 simply because I have no intention of taking this car to track, this is a DD) Fast intentions CBE 18" res with HF cats Eibach anti roll Sway bars ( would consider stillen if someone could direct me why they would be better) Cusco RS LSD? Kinetix racing camber kit if needed Kinerix racimg traction links camber/traction Nismo gear shifter knob NST pulley set w/ suggeated belt (dunno if these are still available, stillen of not) 19" rims on the cheap. Stock sport rims would be perfect for me I want to close by saying I respect the continued advice you guys provide. Been lurking here for a good month prior to my purchase. Lots of info, thank you Last edited by Bauran; 04-19-2013 at 12:32 PM. |
