Welcome. The blind spots on these cars are horrible at first but once you get used to it, it's not to bad. Yes the stock systems are crap. Plus, I prefer to hear the sounds of the road and the engine.

Congrats and welcome! I recommend backing into parking spaces whenever possible due to blind spots
