New Z owner...well the wife is
 

Hey all, my wife and I just got a 09 Z Auto...only has 20k miles so it's relatively new for how old the model year is. Kind of stumbled upon it. I'm more of a forum member when it comes to cars so I guess I'm posting on her behalf.

She came from a GenCoupe 3.8 and she's completely enthralled with it. I used to have a SRT-6 Roadster with about 420hp or so, she loved it and she's always liked Z's (as did I) so this was a pretty good fit. I wish it was a manual but I have to say these come with a pretty damn good auto.

It's Monterey Blue and came with a Gen3 Intake, Stillen Cat-Back and updated stereo, so she's saved quite a bit of money right off the bat. I need to take it to my buddy's shop to see what it puts down. I only know of the intake/exhaust being switched.

Awesome, congrats and welcome to you and your wife. I've got the Stillen Gen3's on my 2012 7AT also and really like them...the sound of the engine changes as does the kick in your pants when you mash the throttle

I drove manuals for the past 9 years and I have to admit that the auto is no slouch when driving canyons. You'll find this community very supportive and full of information.
