Finally a Z owner after a long wait!
Hello everyone!:tiphat: So After an almost 2 year wait of wanting to get one of these, I bought this and took it home yesterday. I haven't had anytime to get a good set of pics of her because its been nasty weather in Central FL but Ill get right on it. Its a 2009 Red Touring+Sport+Navigation. I found it on Ebay actually and noticed it was local, was floored when I saw it had Nav as well and they had it priced at base numbers. Of course I didn't tell them and rushed over there. I had been wanting a Nismo for along time but the 10k difference for a nice used Nismo just couldn't justify that and I love all of the creature comforts of the touring/nav setup. My first order will be the stillen g3 intakes and then a exhaust setup. The wifes not too keen on the exhaust because she doesn't want it to be loud as we live in an upscale neighborhood but I was like honey, im not 16 and have a ricer car, not going to be going around revving it everywhere I go! (shes the reason I didn't buy the car sooner, marriage and engagement ring). The guys where I used to live in the Florida Panhandle were always trying to get me to buy the car but for reasons above coudnt. Well, time to get up and get ready to roll, visiting my mom in Jacksonville this weekend so we got a lot to do today. I love driving manual again though im a bit rough at times getting from 1st to 2nd, been about 10 years since I had a daily driver manual. Ive had Hondas the last 7 years.
I love that my new specialty tags just came in the mail for my other car 3 weeks ago so I transferred them over to this car as soon as I got it, I planned ahead! haha Now ill re-tag my old Honda in about a month or two and say it was down for work...so they wont question why I am ordering a whole new tag for it! :driving: http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i2...psa990246c.jpg http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i2...psc9b21c47.jpg |

Congrats! Sounds like you got a good deal. I have always thought the factory nav looked really good in this car. Also, if you're looking for a great sounding exhaust that isn't extremely loud, I would suggest the fast intentions with the larger resonator. I have it and love it. The way the car should have sounded from the factory IMO.

Yah we love the new home down here, you should see the pool on the golf course, we have a swim up bar with stools in the pool and can pass out drinks or food through a room in the house to the people at the bar! Deff gonna have ppl over when it gets warmer. We still have a not so furnished home. |
Congrats on your new Z. Great deal by the sound of it. Also, can't go wrong with Red! Now to satisfy the mod itch which never ends. I just ordered my F.I. exhaust after owning the car for 10 months. I decided to do cosmetic upgrades first. Keep us posted with more pics.

Hey congrats on the new car & welcome to the forums. Didn't catch what year it was, but be sure to pull that steering lock fuse straight away if it's equiped with one. Too many post going around lately with new owners stuck.
