After 3 weeks of working on it, FINALLY!
I've been running around the forums for a few weeks now. I've test driven 5-370Z's. I've worked with a forum member to purchase his vehicle for 3 weeks. And today, I drove her home. What an AMAZING machine!
She rolled her 20,000th mile in my hands, just 2.5 hours into the drive, so we had a bonding moment there. The drive was from DC to Charlotte, and the fog make it stressful. At times, the interstate was 35mph gridlocked for 10-15 miles. I've been driving for over 12 hours today. And, now that it's parked outside, I want to drive back to the BlueRidge Parkway. My fiance was floored by the car. She's used to her C300 Sport, and when with me, my 07 Civic EX coupe (5sp-man). When she sat in it and I started her up, she got really excited. What.A.Perfect.Day. /I have to say that OppositeLock, the member I bought it from, was a class act all the way. I hope he sticks around the forum as he's also a SCCA member as I am (since 2001). He's got the desire for cars as I do, and I almost hated buying the Z from him at the end. Almost. |

It was tough, no doubt. Thanks! I'll be looking forward to meetups and cruises. I'm already a member of the SCCA, so I might find some other Z owners in the area and get some track time here in Charlotte at discounted rates, if we can pool together.
